MBP 2011 - GPU is hardware disabled - Black screen with MBR/BIOS mode on Windows 10

So i had the GPU permanently disabled by a repair place and with a GPT install Windows can't use the sound & brightness slider, the fix is booting as a MBR/BIOS disk install but when i try to attempt it all i'm getting is a black screen?

Is it because it's trying to use the AMD chip still? Does anyone know the fix for this?

Windows doesn't work the way macOS does in terms of GPU cycling. Windows automatically uses the dGPU, which in your case, is dead.

The thing is, video works for me in EFI mode win10 but the only problems are

- no sound
- brightness slider doesn't do anything

i'm pretty sure i'm close to fixing the sound issue and hopefully theres some software brightness slider i can install

So this fixed the sound!

It does however have this Windows Test Mode text in the bottom right of desktop which is kinda annoying but didn't wanna try Clover incased it bricked the MBP so this'll have to do!
