Hi
As I type this post, my new MBP is sitting wrapped under the Christmas tree. This will be my replacement for my current windows PC - which I am getting rid off as soon as I unwrap my MBP.

Yesterday, my wife made a very good comment. She asked me what is she going to use when she wants to get online at home and the MBP is somewhere else. She said that we should also keep the PC around when both of us need to do some work.

I don't want to keep the PC - I am giving it to my dad to replace his secretary's IBM Pentium I dinosaur. So I realized that for this I might just need a mac mini. I have all that I need; my current 17" LCD monitor (which I am keeping) a bluetooth logitech mouse and apple's wireless keyboard that I ordered for my MBP.

So how does it work having two macs with a single mouse and keyboard? I would like to use the m&K with my MBP when she is not using her mini. Can I use the mouse and keyboard with both the mac mini and the MBP? Can It be set up so that I just turn on the bluetooth in one mac and off in the other and it is immediately recognized?

A low end mac mini would be a great addition. I would have to wait a while so that I recuperate from the MBP purchase but it will be great.

Do you have a mac mini besides you MBP?

You not planning just to use the laptop's own keyboard and trackpad? They're pretty good, and it kinda defeats the object of having a portable if you're plugging stuff into it to use.

Oh I will use them. but I do a lot of graphic design work and I cant see how in the world I would work with just the track pad. Besides I work for long periods at a time and since this is my first laptop. my wrist would probably hurt a little after using the built in keyboard after 8 hours.
