MBP and x-com enemy unknown problem

Hi guys,


I need a little help, I have a early 2011 15" MBP quad core and I have windows as well as Mac OS 10.8 on it.


The new x com come out a few days ago and on steam it was only available for windows so I downloaded it and I'm using it on windows 7 professional on my mac


The game runs and works perfectly with one exception, it will not let me save the game, it just says save failed??


Anyone able to give any advice?

I believe that's a bug in the game not a MBP issue. Check the Steam forums and try Google. I read something about it a couple days ago but don't remember exactly where

Thanks, I have already read through a load but not found much, I'll keep searching

I managed to get it to work after creating another user account in windows and playing it from that account

Check your game settings. Maybe you told the game to save it in a folder where it doesen't have the permissions.
