I opened my MBP (the one just before SR) and got ready to turn it on when i noticed a white spot/streak in the center. You can only see it when the background has black in it, in other words locked or off. My MBP is about 5 months old. Will apple fix this? I searched apple's website and did not see quite the same problem. The problems i saw there concerned powerbooks. We have a decent sized apple store here, what is the turnaround usually like for display problems? I use my laptop everyday, and i have a deployment coming up, id really hate to turn it over to them and not get it back in time. (3 weeks)
Anyone ever get them to switch from glossy to matte when they have their screen repaired? Thanks for the opinions and advice.

Edit: I was trying to see if i could make the line go away. If i turn the brightness all the way down and then lock the screen, you cannot see the white line. If i max out the brightness and lock it, the white streak stands out. Any ideas on what this could be?
