Sweet. I love it. It runs just as well as my beastly self-built PC. One question..

I hooked up my "Internal HD-turned-external" via firewire but it didn't recognize the drive. I then hooked it up with the USB and it recognized. Any thoughts? I don't really have any software for it because it's supposed to be plug-and-play. Well, it's now plug-and-sit. Any ideas, fellas?

Has this case worked on Firewire on other machines? It could be a bad cable or the bridge board itself. I've had lots of drives and cases (most of them built-up from components) and the only problem I've ever had was with a particular Maxtor drive and the particular bridge board.

Also, is this a 3.5" drive (a/c powered) or 2.5" bus powered?

Try plugging the drive in and THEN powering up the 'book. I have one external that refuses to be seen until I do things this way. If the 'book is already on and I plug the drive in, it won't mount. If I do it via USB, it mounts.

All is good either way if the drive is plugged in before booting OS/X.
