Hey everyone, neat little thing I just discovered.
I have a desk with a speaker system that I enjoy playing my music from. I have the volume on the speakers set at a middle range, and use the laptop's on-board volume control for adjusting volume.
However, I also enjoy taking my laptop into the living room. I set the laptop volume a little lower for that since it's quiet in the morning.
What I noticed just now, was that my volume for out in the living room is around 20%, while plugged into speakers it's around 80%.
What is interesting is that when I plug in the speaker wire, the laptop autmatically adjusts from a 20% output to 80% output.
How cool is that?
