My MBP battery will lose 25% randomly while running on battery power. Basically it'll be humming along around 60% then 10 minutes later I'll look up and my battery will be red in the 20-30% range.

If I open up Coconut Battery my max capacity will be around 75%.

After letting the battery run down to 0% and shut off, I'll wake the computer and see that it still has 25-30% battery, and an hour of charge left. Coconut Battery will show my max capacity at 100% again.

Does this happen to anybody else? I'm thinking of calibrating the battery after letting it run out, but this is annoying. I'm at work and I need to use the laptop for another few hours... this is the 3rd time this has happened in the past few weeks.

Yeah, this is exactly what happened to my MBP before the battery completely died.

If it dies, call Apple, they'll replace it.
