MBP Battery Recall?

I dont see any information on Apple's site as of yet, but one of my friends (an Apple store employee) mentioned that there is some MacBook Pro battery recall going on now. Has anyone heard any information on this?

Well, my battery is acting wierd, shutting off randomly with a large charge left. I called Apple about that and some other small issues, and they're having me send it in for repair.

I can chip in one piece of evidence: my W8607 (week 7 production) MBP developed the issue of shutting down a minute after unplugging power. Called Apple and they rather quickly sent me a new battery that seems to work fine.
