Here's an update to my story ( I am really pissed)...
I called the local Apple store (which is 40 mins drive and an extra 30 mins in extremely bad traffic) anyways I explained to the person who picked up the phone that I had purchased my laptop from Apple.com and that I needed to exchange the computer. The moron who picked up the phone said no problem, just come to the store, go to the Genius Bar and they will test the computer, if it turns out to be defective we will exchange if for you.
Anyways I drove for almost an hour and a half just to get to the Apple store, I get there and the Genius Mother****,tells me to wait until he tests the machine.
After 50 minutes he comes back and says, there is a possibility that you computer might be defective but we cannot exchange it here at the store because you purchased from Apple.com...
WHAT!?!?! Man I flipped, I was already in a bad mood because I drove for 40 mins, was stuck in traffic for an extra 30 mins, they made me wait for an extra 50 minutes to test the computer, to tell me that they cannot exchange it?
I will never purchase a product directly from Apple again, I will wait until Amazon receives it or Compusa, but what they did to me today was not right, the lack of care to their customers, specially those geeks at the Genius Bar, was the last drop...
Now they want me to send this computer back and reship it to me within 7-14 business days, how is that right?
I will return this computer and buy it from Compusa or Bestbuy...
