MBP C2D won't read burned Cds

I'm not sure what to do - I'm trying to install Windows under Bootcamp. But I need an SP2 disc, so I created a slipstreamed disc on a friend's system but that won't work in my system. I have a full legal copy of windows, but slipstream wouldn't work, so I downloaded a cracked version of windows and tried that - but the burned CD won't work.

My 1 year warranty JUST ran out :( Anyone know anything about this?
