No, the Apple Cinema Displays have just DVI in, as well as (non video ports) 2 USB and 2 FW400. The 2" DVI cable is a DVI-VGA adapter, and is an... ADAPTER, so you plug your VGA cable into that, or a DVI cable directly into the MacBook Pro.
