MBP CASE , trying to find a drop resistant one

Hi, i like the sleve design kind of case like the incase ones but i dont think it would really help it if i dropped my computer right? i have a 15" macbook pro and want to get something thats small like a sleeve but will keep it safe if it drops out of my hands while im carrying it around campus like a binder (so waist hieght) i currently have a targus backpack but dont want to lug that around for clase's where i just need my computer itself not 100 books, paper etc. thank you very much!

I have a Brenthaven case and I'm told it's quite durable. I've been very happy with it. And it's slim, but it might not quite be like the Incase you described, but I haven't seen those. Nor is it like the backpack you currently have. It's just a regular computer case that works great.

I almost bought one, but ended up getting a Brenthaven messenger bag. It was recommended to me by some people on the board (fyi: I have a long post on the subject in the Buying forum).

I have a brenthaven too- extremely well padded. You can carry it more like the sleeve thing if you want. I love mine.

Edge II

This Brentahven Edge II is fit for 15" MBPs. I think on the Apple Store it has pictures of it being dropped on a corner. Anyways, this pretty much a sleeve type case, but with tons more drop protection than any all neoprene one I've held.

peruvian can you post pictures if possible please? Does it provide protection from the zipper hitting the laptop? And is the inside soft like lined with velvet or anything similar?

I own the incase neoprene sleeve. Though it does not have alot of padding, it has enough that when I dropped my powerbook it protected it. It's also very thin so that you can still slip your computer into a backpack. I think if you want something thin and yet still protective, then incase neoprene sleeve is very good.

That one was rated pretty high at the apple store too if I am not mistaken (least the 17" was).
