I'd like to upgrade to an MBP sometime, but as yet there is seems to be no option that I can use to drive 2 x 21' screens (3200x1200).

Does anyone know of any future express card video cards or a matrox dual-head like product that can actually do DVI and 1600x1200?

I was thinking when pccard-expressbus adapters eventually come out I could do a vtbook->pcmcia->expresscard, but that would be ugly, slow, and expensive. Any other ideas?

I contacted that company that made the adpater for powerbooks, and they actually said they had no plans to make a mbp version.

eta: the link to the company

Not sure how this works, possibly only mirrors?

This article says there will be a solution this fall

This could also be a near future solution..you can use this to run the villagetronic card

Thanks for trying to help and taking time to post the links. None of these solutions currently will do 3200x1200 though, however ExpressCard to PCI Expansion by magma does look promising, and they say they'll have an /34 version out soon, so here's hoping. If such a thing does come out, which graphics card do you think would work with it?

Heh, er nevermind 1 Slot ExpressCard/54-to-PCI expansion For Full-Length PCI Cards $999. I think my threshold is somewhere around $150 for such a device.
