MBP External Display!!!

Finally just order my first Mac today and so happy although gotta wait till 17th July. And considering i been waiting to get one since January its been long enough. But just wondering if i set up an external display can i use it as dual display setup instead of just showing what my MBP will be showing?

weird, i ordered mine yesterday and estimated delivery 6-9 july

Yes you can! I have a 19"WS and lcd at work. Just hook up the external and open sys pref's/displays to properly set-up.
