my mbp is having bad fan noise frm the fan underneath the right speaker. wondering how to get this resolved. is there a fix for it. or should i go to the apple store and get it replaced. now ? will they replace it one the spot, or send it out. and if they send it out. will they automatically tranfer all my HDD over. thanks

I just had this problem within the last week myself. I took it the nearest Apple Store and they said that it must be sent in to replace the fan. It isn't a problem if you continue to use it without getting it fixed right away. Mine does it intermittently now. You'll be without it for about 5-7 days, as they won't replace it on the spot. That's what I wanted to happen as I'm a college student who needs to type multiple documents a week. So I'll send mine in later.
