Hi,

I'm thinking of changing my macpro to a MBP 2.6, 200gb 7200rpm and 8600 256mb graphics.

Reason is, i would like to be portable and dont really require a high end machine like i have.

How will the MBP cope with playing games such as Battlefield 2142 and Crysis at 1600 X 1050?

I know there is a new MBP on it's way in Jan, so i'll wait until then just incase they update the graphics.

You're kidding, right? It will play both quite well, being an 8600. Of course, don't expect anything too amazing. I'd wait until January, though, 'cause I've got a feeling we'll be seeing an update.

I have a feeling it wont do crysis so well. At near the lowest settings it'll play it, but I doubt it will play well at ALL at 1600x1050.
