MBP Hard Drive

Whenever Apple allows for the option to put a 160gb HD in the MBP, i will buy one. I know these drives do exist, so any idea as to when they will be available in the MBP? Thanks

According to this, Seagate should release them later this year. No time frame for Apple though

powerbook resq already offers 160gb upgrade HDs for powerbook though

Apple starts offering options like that, I might have to upgrade my Powerbook to a new MacBook Pro.

I wish it was easy to upgrade

i wish the hard drive was just like the battery in a way that you can just pop the drive out and put another drive in. PC laptops have that feature. It makes upgrades easier or expands the usability. One drive just for using iMovie / Final Cut Pro and pop in the other drive for the rest of your apps and data. Even have a separate drive for Windows Vista and another for Linux. 40 GB drives are around $60 bucks.
