ok, I know that apple only sells the MBP with a 3gig upper limit of ram, but is there any reason why you can't put 4gig in it? has anyone tried it?
Also, when the MBP's first came out they had an option of a 7200 rpm drive, now they have 5400 and 4200, why? is it due to heat or something?
Also unrelated question, if you have say Tiger on your comp and you buy Leopard and you install it (upgrade is the lingo I believe) would you loose the files/apps already installed on your comp?
thanks for the help
