MBP: Intel Crestline Processor?

I recently read in the german magazine "Macwelt" that Apple is likely going to upgrade the MBP-processor to the model "Intel Crestline". They say it will even be done in the first quarter of 2007. Does anybody know if that's true? I haven't found any information about that Crestline-thing on the internet so I doubt it. I'm not sure if I should wait buying the Macbook Pro until this update is really done? Any advice?

Crestline isn't a processor, it's a chipset.

Crestline is a part of the Santa Rosa platform that will be introduced in the first half of 2007, so yes, the MBP will likely have it included if/when it switches to Santa Rosa if Santa Rosa does indeed use Crestline.
