hey guys,

This is my first Mac laptop - a C2D MBP. It's wonderful and blazing fast.. I love it. I use it to play WoW and do other internet browsing. I'm very.. er, OCD about it. :p

I've started to notice that the "W,A,S,D" keys (the ones used for movement in some comptuer games) are starting to feel dull compared to the other MBP keys. Mostly they don't sound "normal" when pressed. I've compared this to an in-store MBP (which I'm sure gets a lot of wear) and all the keys felt similar. This MBP is just 2 weeks old mind you!

I'm wondering if I should mention this to the Genius Bar at my nearest Apple Store. I don't want to seem picky as the keys ARE working fine but there is a noticable sound/feel difference when pressing the W,A,S,D keys versus the other keys... and I don't want the keyboard to wear out fast like this!

Thanks for your advice.

If the keys wear out just get it fixed under warranty. Telling the genius bar "Hey I think my WASZ keys are going to fail" is a waste of time for both you and him seriously.
