Finally got tired of having to go downstairs every time I needed to run a windows app and installed Windows 7 a few days ago. For the most part it's running fine, with the exception of the laptop's keyboard. All of the non-standard button functionality doesn't work -- the eject key, the keyboard backlight/screen backlight controls, etc. The keyboard backlight is by far the most annoying part, since I usually leave my computer on 24/7 downloading things and whatnot, and having those bright lights on under the keyboard is a bit distracting.

I did a search, but didn't really see any recent posts on the subject. So my question is, has anyone found out how to get the Macbook Pro keyboard to work correctly in Windows 7 64? The keyboard backlight control is really the only thing that matters to me, the other keys working would just be icing on the cake.

I'm on a Unibody MBP. I've seen that site before, but the installer it links doesn't do anything noticeable though. I've tried installing the 2.1 64 bit keyboard drivers, and the 3.0 64 bit keyboard drivers, both without success. Windows is installing a generic keyboard driver for the MBP's keyboard, and seems to think that the KeyMagic.sys driver included in BootCamp 3.0's AppleKeyboardInstaller64.exe isn't appropriate for the keyboard =\
