I've a Macbook Pro that has an unused key for the CD eject (the finder eject icon works just fine).

I'm fed up of using <fn><backspace> to delete text - that's right delete, not left delete.

Does anyone know if you can map the eject key to delete?

Also, I wonder if it's possible to remap the unused enter key (to the right of the space) to function. Then I could use one hand to pageup/down/home/end.

TIA,
Glenn

I think DoubleCommand can modify your enter key; there's a thread in their forum regarding the eject key which suggests it may be somewhat more complex.

Thanks. That looks very useful. It does the mapping of the right enter key to <fn> and <shift><backspace> to delete.

Unfortunately DoubleCommand doesn't provide mapping for the eject key.
