Hi all
I recently bought a MBP late 2011 (15inch model) but it does not seem to have bluetooth working. I have tried:
1) resetting nvram
2) resetting smc
3) reinstalling MacOs High Sierra (the most recent MacOs that can be installed)
4) replaced the Wifi/bluetooth module.
After all in System Information it still states "no information available" in bluetooth. Does anyone else have any ideas? The Wifi is working fine on the old and new chips. I know the screen was replaced so I no not know if the antenna are connected in the screen. but all 5 connections (data cable to motherboard and the 4 antenna) are all connected to the module (although I would have thought that bluetooth would have still shown even if there was an antenna issue.
The last resort I can think off is to replace the data cable to the module.
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.
