So, my MBP's lid doesn't shut like it should. The left side is at least 2 mm off of the lower part. Does that seem like a lot? I was wondering if anyone else had this issue, and what they did about it.

Edit: It's very similar to this picture:

Gotta say that my MBP has a very similar problem- it's probably not as pronounced as in the picture you provided, but it does exist in mine.
Thing is, I now have at least 10 friends who have a similar 15 or 17in MBP here, and at least 6 of them have a similar problem. The others- I couldn't say, I've never looked at theirs, and they haven't mentioned it to me.

I believe there's a design flaw that affects the line. It's not just yours. There are probably more threads about it here on MR, and the apple discussion websites.

Don't worry about it too much. It's cosmetic and relatively common.

Mine has a similar warp on the screen they didn't fix the first time around. They did fix the drooping main body though. The MBP has to go in for lots of other issues so it's in the list of stuff to be fixed. Apple quality, eh? A 2.5 year-old latchless Sony I've got snaps shut with a dead straight screen.
