hey,

i didn't buy an applecare plan because i didn't think i'd have to worry about factory defects after the 90 day initial warranty (and parents didn't want to spend 250 on a manufacturer defect warranty). is there a program available through apple or a third party that will insure my macbook pro against loss, theft, or damage? or does the applecare plan protect my lappy in these conditions?

i'd like to protect my investment... i'm sure theres a way, i just don't know what that is.

thanks for your help :)

some insurance companies offer this. my home insurance plan will let me insure things like my cell phone and iPod for loss outside of the home.
