MBP M1 Max 16" 64GB to MBP M2 Pro 16" 32GB

I have the opportunity to do this swap of my 2021 M1 Max MBP for free through work.
Considering it basically for the little bit of extra battery life and WiFi 6e (my main APs at home/work are 6e)

Storage would be the same, 2TB.

My workloads are power-user, compiling and heavy multitasking but I rarely seem to exceed 32GB of RAM as my VM have moved from my laptop to a server cluster with the move to the M1 anyway.

Is it worth it?

Tough call… the Pro memory bandwidth is 200GB/s vs the Max’s 400GB/s so keep that in mind with your workflow
