I've been trying to debug this to no avail -- I closed my MBP last night at around 6pm @ 50%. Opened it up just now, and it's at 23%. That's a huge drop doing absolutely nothing, so obviously it's waking up for something. How do I adequately debug what is happening here? I've been so used to having a weekend without a power cord, so this is puzzling.

Have you installed/running the App Aldente? In my case I’m suspecting it to be the drainer while sleep.

I’ve had this issue with my m1 max MBP too, only way I make sure to keep battery charged is by truly turning off the device in between uses. Hoping someone else finds a better way.

I have Aldente Pro installed and this happens to me too. I mainly use my M1 Max plugged in but for two days a week I take it out and use it away from power. I wonder if using Aldente will actually contribute to battery mis-charging?
