MBP M1 Max vs M2 Max - does M2 kick the fans earlier?

Has anyone compared Macbook Pro M2 Max to M1 Max regarding fans? Does M2 MBP kick the fans earlier than M1 MBP ? I am thinking to get M2Max with 64GB RAM and 8TB HDD (to upgrade from my MBP M1Pro that sometimes stumbles in more demanding video editing) but I am a bit scared of possible more frequent fans. Here 95% of time there are absolutely no fans and temperature 38-50 degrees Celsius.
I don't want any fans in normal situation (as it is most of the time with M1Pro). Even the lowest fans speed annoys me. And I don't want to regret this upgrade

Would MBP M2 Max have similar fans behaviour as M1Pro or fans more frequent and temperature higher under the same conditions ? (due to extra CPU and GPU cores).

And battery life less than M1Pro ?

No firsthand experience, but the Max chips run hotter than the Pro chips. When idle, fans will be at minimum, but I believe I've read that the M1 Max will heat up quicker than the M1 Pro, particularly in the 14" model.

Honestly, if you're looking at more compute power, you're going to have to tolerate some fan noise at some point.

i don’t have any first hand experience, but I’d be amazed if the fans were ramping up during video editing on the M2 Max unless you’re really stressing the system to its limits (Many many streams of 8K or 16K) - otherwise i suspect it’ll be cool enough at the minimum fan speed. They’re letting the temps get a bit higher on the M2 series seemingly, so I don’t think fan noise will be any more of an issue than on the M1 Max. Are you looking at the 14 or 16 inch? 16 obviously buys more headroom with temps/fans
