Hi,

Had a load of problems with my m4 so minus the M4 which would you buy?

I use for development and Logic Pro.

The choices are (all brand new units)

MacBook Pro M3 Pro 14” 12 Core CPU / 18 Core GPU / 18GB RAM / 1TB SSD - £1999 Silver

Or

MacBook Pro M2 Pro 14” 12 Core CPU / 16 Core GPU / 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD - £1524

Or a curve ball…

MacBook Pro M1 Pro 14” 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD - £1349

..but fear the M1 is getting a bit old now.

The price difference is quite significant from the M3 to M2. Is the M3 worth nearly £500 extra in this case?

Would appreciate your views.

Thanks.

If you were in the States, I would absolutely say the M3 Pro 18/1tb because it can be had a retailers like Best Buy brand new for $1999. I just picked up a brand new M3 Pro 11/14c 18/512 for $1499. If I need more storage I will just pick up an external ssd

That’s cheap! Big difference in price here.
