I have set in Power Profiles of my MBP to go to sleep after 10 min and turn off the screen after the computer had been inactive for 1 min. Unfortunately, nothing happens.
The solutions I tried are:

Disable wireless and install and disable Bluetooth. So computer does not search constantly for other devices and stay active all the time. This did not help.

Power settings DO work in OSX.

Was anyone able to make power settings work when computer is inactive?

I have C2D MBP 2.33, but it should not make any difference.

I wonder if it's a driver issue. How did you set the power settings in Vista?
