Any thoughts on a weird problem.

My 17" MBP has stopped downloading photos from my old Kodak camera (which has a Kodak proprietary USB connection).

It is perfectly happy with a Sony and the Kodak can download to an iMac and a TiBook.

Now, when I plug it in iPhoto starts up, but the importing screen does not come up.

I have tried all the USB ports and suspect a connection problem, but cannot work it out!

can you load them to another computer then email them to the computer you're using?

that would be a pretty good way to test if the problem is in the camera or in the computer

Hi Swwack,

That is what I am doing at the moment - downloading onto other Macs and then punting the images across the LAN.

Hi Emack

How do I manualy import?

iPhoto does not see the camera and when I choose; file> import to library, the file screen also fails to show the camera.

Thanks for the advice.

Chris
