According to my energy saving settings, my computer should go to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity. However, I've fallen asleep and woken up the next day to find the MBP and display still on. A couple times now, I've closed the laptop and although the light seems to indicate that the computer is sleeping, it feels hot to the touch and the battery has drained down substantially.

I called Apple and they said that my 90 days' phone support were up and that I should take it to a service centre. I was wondering if a simple fix might spare me that ordeal!
