MBP Owners (Glossy and/or AntiGlare), Hows Does Your Display Compare to Your Air? Do you find the Air's display to be better than the glossy display in terms of quality?
If you have the Anti-Glare version, does it look more washed out than air? Any feedback in regards to comparison between the Pro display and the Air display would be excellent.

I have the anti glare high res mid-2010 MBP and my wife has a 2010 11" MBA.
I find the MBA to be an awesome display and not as "glossy" as the glossy MBP's. Colors are more accurate on the AG MBP but seem see it as washed out. Depends on your usage and tolerance I guess.

Long story short, I don't mind the glossy display on the MBA. On a MBP, glossy is a no-go for me.

I had a MB-alu 2008 (13-inch, "mirror"-screen) before I got my MBAir. The quality difference is huge in favour of the latter. The colours are not as vivid on the Air, but that doesn't really matter - because the resolution is higher on the Air and there are barely any reflections at all.

Glossy screen is nice for watching movies in the dark, though.

Played with my friends 2011 mbp today. I'll tell you the screen on the MBA is far crisper the mbp screen looked washed out

if the MBP was washed out something was wrong....my MBA has a crisper, sharper screen, but the color saturation on my MBP is superior.

And I think that is the general opinion here.

So it sounds like...

vs. Glossy - MBA crisper, just less saturated
vs. AG - MBA crisper, more colorful/less washed out

Sounds like I will be in for disappointment in display quality regardless of what MBP display I choose, with the exception of Glossy, which would be more reflective. Garrr
