Hello Everyone,
Longtime lurker, first time poster here...
I bought my 15" MBP C2D 2.33 in April. It's my first Mac and I love it dearly. It has a little quirk, though, that is starting to really bother me. The bottom of the case is warped. From the CD slot to the edge of the laptop it's lifted a little bit, just enough so the one corner doesn't sit on the desk like the other three. I've been living with this for a while. I bought the laptop to use it, not admire its style. BUT, now something now has arisen from this problem. The top of the laptop (palm rest, whatever you want to call it) has lifted a little bit from the warping. Now whenever I put down my hands to type, the skin on my arms gets pinched. I'm a programmer. I type a lot, and I take my hands away from the keyboard to rip out my hair, then put them back on the keyboard a lot. It's starting to get painful. In the past, I actually ever so carefully bent the warped part back into place, and this relieved the problem for a week or two, but now it's back again, and it's getting worse. Do you suppose the Apple Store will help me out, or do I need to get a bending unit? Also, did I do anything to bring this on? It seems like it's probably a heat issue, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance for your insight.

Do you have apple care? I'm not brushed up in everything they do and don't cover, but I believe you only have 90 days on the warentee it comes with. If Apple is unable to help you, check with your credit card. Some cards offer really good purchase protection programs.

The included warranty provides phone support for 90 days, but covers the device for any manufacturing defects for upto 1 year from the date of purchase.

I suggest that you take it to an Apple store and have them checked out. Did you have the bottom warping ever since you bought it?
