Do you think theyre going to drop after the holidays? My sisters getting me one as a gift and I dont want her spending $2000+ on it if it's going to drop :rolleyes:

No. Apple doesn't really do price drops on computers without some sort of revision, and no revisions are due for quite some time.

$1999 is reasonable for a laptop(never mind what is included) and probably will be for a while

If you look at what, in the next year or so, Apple could add to their laptops, $2k for a laptop is reasonable.

They will keep the prices and include better stuff.

Apple doesn't drop its prices on computers, it just likes to keep it the same and bump up the specs. (A month ago, $2,800 got you a 2.16ghz core duo laptop with 1GB of RAM and a 120GB hard drive, now $2,800 gets you 2.33ghz core 2 duo with 2GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive)
