Hello everyone,

I would like your recommendation for an MBP. My primary use case is MATLAB, Excel and Python.
I was eyeing for the new 13’ (1TB+16GB, 4 core i5) or the 16’ (512GB+16GB, 6 core i7), both of these configurations cost the same in my country and there aren’t any 32GB RAM model :/

I wanted to know is the new 13’ worth it with its 10th gen chip and 1TB storage over the 16’ 4GB graphics card and 512GB storage. Thank you.

I have a similar question for the same usecase. For me it's 13' with 32GB RAM vs Refurbished base 16'.

The difference between the two is roughly £160.

I'd wait for the new 13 (14) as performance is supposed to be a lot better. They should get the new 16 speakers too and 32 GB RAM option. My personal preference is the 16 as I like big screens over weight concerns.

My present laptop is giving me a lot of problems, I’ll need to change it by June max. I was looking forward for the 14’ too.
