Ive been putting a lot of my music on my MBP recently, and every now and again the disk doesnt spin, the mac just spits it out. I clean the disk, and try again, but the same thing happens. What could be causing this?

Thank you Jah...I'm so Blessed
Is it just a audio CD or is it one of those CDs that have content on them. Make sure that CD is not bent or messed up.

In preference do you have it set up to play the CD when inserted or do nothing?

Bless

I know that my mac doesn't like CDs that have copy protection schemes or some of them with interactive extra content..but plain audio CDs with nothing else work absolutely fine.

I've had issues with some artist realeases that are on DualDisc because they are marginally thicker and the slot drive doesn't quite know how to handle it...goes in, tries to spin, spits it back out. I resorted to ripping it on a PC w/ a CD tray and transferring it back to the MBP.
