My mid 2012 retina MBP is saying it needs its battery serviced, i assume replaced.

I’m trying to figure out the cost of this and how long it takes a genius bar to do as i cannot find out any information.

I contacted an Apple authorised reseller/service place and they said it would take over 3 days and cost nearly £400!! I might as well save that use the laptop plugged in until the new MBP comes out for that price.

If a genius bar is cheaper and takes less time then i might book it in, but just wondered if anyone else had, had their battery serviced at a genius bar?
