I would like to upgrade my ram on my new MBP SR from 2GB to 4GB later. I have a few questions though. How many ram slots are there? Are there 2 or 4? What's the BEST option? I would really appreciate if you let me know exactly which ones to get. Thank you! :D

There are two slots. You should upgrade RAM in a little while, when you begin to see that your mbp is slowing down or just needs some help to stay "zippy." This way, prices on 2GB sticks will fall even further.

So I gotta remove the 2x 1gb sticks that's in there right now and replace them with 2x 2GB sticks, correct? Thank you so much!

I don't see how else you could do it if you want 4GB, so yes. Unless you know of a way to add more slots, in which case, do tell.
