My girlfriend and I have mbps. Mine is 2ghz with 256mb video and hers is 1.83ghz with 128mb video. I have recently noticed that my screen displays colors differently. White is slightly brown and black is grayish. On my girlfriend's mbp the white and the black are perfect .Did anyone else notice anything similar?

I was planning to get the logic-board replaced in the near future. Do you think Apple would replace the screen?

Have you tried calibrating your display settings in System Prefs? Among other things, the gamma setting may be making your display appear yellower/warmer than hers does.

Interesting. I have the same issue, only when compared with the ACD. It's actually an annoyance in tandem with the ACD, more so recently.

The yellowish tint is when it is calibrated. Oh well, it's only issue #10002 in a long line of stuff outstanding which I have to get fixed on the MBP

I have tried it before, but it didn't help. And the black is "more" black on my girlfriend's mbp.
