I recently purchased a new 24" Alu iMac and a used 2.2 GHz 15" MBP Glossy. How would you compare the MBP screen next to the new Alu iMac screen? Before I bought the MBP I looked at the screen and it seemed alright. But ,when side by side, the iMac blows the MBP out of the water. Do you find this to be true or should the MBP screen be just as nice as the iMac screen? There is definitely a yellow tint to the screen when I look at it at an angle. But I thought I read on this forum that was "normal". My MBP was purchased on Aug. 8. I am wondering if I have the yellow screen problem with the MBP.
Any input would be great. Thanks.

Thanks for your time.

Absolutely. The iMAC has a higher resolution the the MBP, that is one of the reasons why it looks so good. I have both and I love the quality of the screen on the iMac much better than my MBP

I actually took the MBP into my local Apple store and they agreed it had a yellow screen. Unfortunately, they didn't have any screens in stock so they ordered me a new one. I should get the new screen tomorrow or Saturday.

Well I had the apple store install a new Samsung screen for me. I am not sure what to think. At times I think it is fine and other times I see a yellow tint.
There is definitely a yellow tint when viewing the MBP on an angle. Is this supposed to be "normal"?
