reburbs are amazing, I've heard of more people getting crappy new stuff than crappy refurbished stuff

Hmmmm.....

My new 15 2.2 still hasn't shipped. Now I'm wondering if I should just get the refurb as I know it's in stock. Or perhaps the HiRes 17 is such a deal I need to consider it.

So many choices, why did they have to do it, why,why?

I consider my refurbed mbp 2.0ghz, 256mb X1600, 1x1gb ram bought for $1350 in January to be the best value of any computer I've ever bought. With apple care as an option, I feel a refurb is kind of a no brainer if you're on a budget.
