Hi all, I just got a new 15" 2.2GHz MBP last week. It's absolutely great, I love it. However, I'm running "CoreDuoTemp" and I've noticed the processors never go above 1.83GHz, even when using something like HandBrake and with the energy settings on "Better Performance." Is this accurate? Is there another program I can use? Though if it is just at 1.83GHz, I certainly can't tell, because this feels really snappy to me.

cheers, Mike

Is your battery in? its know if you take it out even if you are plugged into the wall osx will underclock the cpu
