I have a DVI adapter and connect my MBP to my TV via. red/yellow/white cables, and this is fine in OS X. Howevr, XP only recognises the TV as a monitor, and output at 60Mhz+ in NTSC, so the image is both black and white and flickery beyond all recognition.

How can I can get my MBP to output to my (PAL) TV while in XP?

The Apple-provided XP display drivers do not support TV out. It's that simple. For NTSC, I cannot get it to display anything at all in XP. Apple says merely that it is beta software, so they cannot help.

you've got to tell what kind of XP you're refering to - Parallels or Boot Camp?
i assume it's BC. if so, it's probably because BC hasn't supported TV out yet - in which case you'd have to wait until they do.
