I've had my MBP for about a week now and I wanted to share with everyone the unboxing process when it arrived. I was like a kid at Christmas, or rather, the kids on youtube who get their first video game system. haha..

Enjoy..

Holy crap! Your kitchen look identical to the kitchen in a friend's house. Spooky. I wonder if he knows where you've been..

Looks good! Brand new, I see. I unpacked mine w great enthusiasm, but it was just a plain brown box :( (refurbed)

Yeah, it is incredible the amount packaging Apple DOESN'T use. The MBP's box itself was very minimal and the brown box that it came in via fed ex was just packed with 4 cardboard corners that acted as shock protectors and i think that was it.

I was very enthusiastic that morning haha. I got up at 7 am because it was to be delivered by 10:30 am..it got here at 10. I remember my facebook status saying that it was even noon and that day was a win. hah

First pic: I like how the windows laptop is very close to falling onto the floor ;)

Haha, yeah, that's my girlfriends Gateway. It's about 4 years old and its powersource is near dead. She's gonna make it work through her last year at school this year and then we're getting her a MacBook Pro so she can start her job, a school teacher with a sweet computer. We like to refer to her laptop as her "inferior box."

I continue to be amazed at the lack of content in these threads. You didn't even specify which uMBP you were opening, you didn't explain what kind of HD you dropped into it. But, what truly makes this thread awful is the fact that NO ONE has said anything about this before me. Instead people have been discussing things like your tattoos and the ****ing style of kitchen you have.

You must be new here ;).

Check AppleInsider forums and SomethingAwful Apple threads. They are a lot more decent, and actually worth reading and contributing to.

I vividly remember the day I got my first Mac. I was just as happy and excited as you are in these pictures. Enjoy your new MBP. :D
