My on-campus computer store has a 17" MBP 2.16 CD with 2g ram, 100gb hd, 3 yr apple care for 2797. The offer expires 9/16. I think they are already configured, so I would just pick it up there. Also, it does not include the nano promotion. Should I wait for merom or go for saving some money? Even with the educational discount and adding Ram from crucial, the configured MBP is still cheaper. What do you think? By the way, I am upgrading from a 800mhz g4 quicksilver powermac. (I want to go for a more mobile setup).
