I have a 2017 13" MBP with the touch bar running Mojave. About the same time I updated to Mojave I also used my iPhone 7 as a hotspot, and since have had an odd WiFi issue on my home network. Timing could be coincidental for sure.

The MBP is unable to connect to my home WiFi (psacake in the screenshot), each time I try to connect, it asks for the password, I enter (or share from another device) and it reports that the password is incorrect.

I'm not sure if there is a name conflict somewhere, I've also seen "psacake" as a device, although I can't consistently reproduce that. What I find strange is that it only effects this one device. Other iPads, iPhones, and Windows laptops have no issues. The aiport that I'm connected to is ok, but the coverage is not so great, my normal wireless network is a mesh setup so I can connect at top speeds throughout the whole house.

Not sure what to look at, which switch to jiggle.

Just circling back on this, I do have UBNT WAPs, band steering was off, I turned it on and it resolved the issues. Didn't even think about the controller software/settings, since i have no issues on a separate UBNT network that I also manage. Strange technology gremlins!
