Hey guys- my friend's MBP will not burn DVDs, but will burn CDs. It reads DVDs just fine as well. Is the drive dying? Or is it something else? Here's the message we get when trying to burn DVD media:

Most likely bad medium or worse a bad drive.

I had the luck of coming by the latter. Try another disc or send it in for repair...

Lee, I've noticed the first thing to go when a drive is going bad is the ability to burn DVDs. Take it in.

Looks like a bad drive. If it's under warranty, take it in - they'll fix it.
