Today i got my external enclosure in the mail, it's this really nice looking Macally thing with Firewire 800, USB and eSATA connections. I allready had a fairly new 3,5" SATA hdd, 250 gb, i will put in it.
Then, hopefully tomorrow, my MBP will arive and i was wondering what the best setup would be. I planned to use the external as a bootable backup disk using Superduper to make the backups. But today i was thinking, the external drive is faster than the internal drive (160 GB, 5400 rpm), so it would be a good idea to work from the external drive when i'm at home and from the internal drive when i'm at uni.
But how would i set this up? I assume Superduper can't sync the data two ways, can it? So is there a way to do this and make sure i'm always working on the same data wether i'm at home or away? And will it really make a lot of difference, working from the external? I only do graphic/CAD work, no film.
Thanks for any input, i hope i formultated my question understandable!
