MBpro and Sierra incorrect external monitor resolution 4k

Hello everyone.
(Sorry for my English)
I have a problem I can not solve.
I have a Macbook pro mid 2014 retina with s.o Sierra which I connected an external 4K 27 inch monitor with hdmi-hdmi cable. The problem is that on the 4k monitor I can not set the 4k result but only 1080p. I've already read somewhere that this is a Sierra bug, but I did not find a real solution to the problem.
Does any of you have any idea?
